What is the difference between laser and rotary engraving?
Both laser and rotary engraving machines utilize a two-ply plastic engraving stock. Rotary engraving uses a cutting tool that rotates rapidly to cut into the surface layer to expose the core colour. Laser engraving uses a focused laser beam to vaporize the surface layer to expose the core colour. Generally, we utilize the more sophisticated laser equipment to produce more detailed and accurate lettering and logos.
