- Names should be printed in a simple font like Helvetica ... avoid script or cursive fonts.
- Always print the given name first followed by the surname (if used).
- If titles are essential, they should be printed in a smaller font than the name.
- Your organization's logo is important but should not be the dominant aspect of the Name Badge. The person's name should always be the main attraction.
- Always wear your Name Badge on the right, approximately 4" below the shoulder level. When meeting someone, you automatically reach out with your right hand to offer a handshake. Having your badge on your right side will place your Name Badge in view.
- Make sure your Name Badge is straight at all times, otherwise conveys a lack of respect to yourself and your organization. |
